Southern and Eastern TUC

Unionlearn in the Southern & Eastern TUC works with trade unions, employers, education providers, 3 Regional Development Agencies, Sector Skills Councils, and other key players involved in developing the workplace learning agenda and the skills and knowledge of trade union representatives.

We also work closely with local communities, for example in partnership with the Olympic Delivery Authority we have established the Community and Trade Union Learning Centre which is providing learning opportunities for workers constructing the Olympic site,  workers employed in local firms and members of the local community.

Unionlearn with the Southern and Eastern TUC is at the forefront of union-led information and advice for reps and members. We also organise a programme of accredited courses trade union representatives and full-time officers.

Our team can offer assistance to unions, and through them to employers. We are able to offer support on most lifelong learning and workforce development initiatives, including Investors in People, NVQs, Skills for Life, Access to Higher Education, Apprenticeship, and more.
