This course will help safety reps:
- consider the reason for investigating
- improve the treatment of members affected
- ensure that management's accident investigations are 'suitable and sufficient'
- gather, preserve and present evidence for investigation, litigation and enforcement authorities
- complete a competent accident investigation
- develop a Trade Union strategy for using accident investigation to reduce the risks to members' health, safety and welfare
