Stream: Learning through unions

Register now for Going Global, a TUC Education online course.

'This course has made me see the world differently.'

Going Global is an engaging introduction to the central role working people play in international development. From export processing zones to ship breaking, it covers practical examples of the problems and opportunities facing workers across the globe.

'Excellent help, support and encouragement.'

The course explains key issues such as international development and globalisation, poverty, trade justice and labour migration. It also addresses how, through trade union workplace action, in communities and internationally, workers can secure fairness and justice at work instead of being forced to choose between exploitation and starvation.

'Fascinating and refreshingly radical.'

Begins 19 January and takes around 30 hours over eight weeks. Further information and to sign up for the course see www.unionlearn.org.uk/goingglobal.
