Certificate in Professional Development (CPD) in Union LearningTUC Educational Trust Bursaries are available to students who are offered a place on the following part-time course. Certificate in Professional Development (CPD) in Union Learning at London Metropolitan University This course is for Union Learning Representatives, project workers, officers and any other trade unionists active or interested in Union Learning. It is accessible to anyone whether or not they have studied in higher education before. The Certificate situates Union Learning within an industrial context and wider trade union agendas. It has been developed in consultation with trade unions to provide opportunities for participants to develop their understanding of what is happening in the world of lifelong and Union Learning as well as the wider context in which this learning takes place. The Certificate aims to empower both unions and participants by providing a pathway into further study and trade union activity. The course is run by the Centre for Trade Union Studies at London Metropolitan University in conjunction with the Working Lives Research Institute.
