TUC Diploma in Contemporary Trade Unionism Online - Application Form - step 1 Due to the demanding nature of the Diploma in Contemporary Trade Unionism course, all applicants are required to provide the course tutors with additional information detailing the knowledge and experience that you have gained as a union representative. To further assess your suitability for the course we will require you to complete a short written task. The form also asks you to assess your own IT skills. Please note the course is designed for experienced union representatives only. Online courses are especially suitable for those union reps that require a convenient and more flexibly delivered course. However to be a successful online learner you will need to be self-motivated, self-disciplined and highly organised.
