
Women and Work - Skills for Justice
Skills for Justice has secured over half a million pounds of funding to offer a range of training initiatives to women working or volunteering in the Justice sector in England. Opportunities include:
- accredited team leader training for new team leaders or those who want to progress to that role
- accredited coach/mentoring programme for middle managers
- executive coaching for senior managers
- a bespoke programme for women returners
- bursaries worth up to £680 to access off the shelf solutions
- accredited Action Learning Set Facilitator training
These initiatives are designed promote the development of soft skills, such as increased confidence, assertiveness, work-life balance, negotiation, delegation and increasing personal impact. The pilot programme showed that these skills can have a direct impact on the career progression of women in the Justice sector and are valued by employers. Some of the programmes are being offered as part of a small pilot therefore places are limited and we recommend that you register your interest as soon as possible.
