Skills investment a TUC seminar - UPDATE
At a time when the government is significantly reducing public investment in skills, there is a greater imperative on private investment from employers and individuals. This seminar will explore the trade union role in encouraging employer investment and co-investment and interventions on a sectoral and national level, including licence to practice and reform of tax relief. The seminar is aimed at trade union officials, academics, employer groups including sector skills councils, government officers and others with an interest in increasing investment in skills in the current climate of austerity.
