Unions Brokering Management Skills

Working with TUC/unionlearn affiliates, this project offers the opportunity to develop management skills as part of the union workplace learning agenda. Through a series of one-day workshops or full awards we aim to engage the employer in the take up of management training for employees.

Project is aimed at but not exclusive to working in key sectors (logistics & transport, food and drink, health & social care and construction)

Working with unions learning projects to develop workplace project for management skills training

Develop a series of workshops to offer support to under-represented groups of workers in the field of management

Focus is on first line management skills

Skills offered to date have been mentoring & coaching, communications skills, women stepping up to management, working with apprentices, Black and Ethnic Minorities into Management. However ANY management skills unitised by and recognised by a management standards accreditation body will be accepted
