Seeking interest in consultancy work within unionlearn's Supporting Migrant Workers into Learning in Leicester Project Consultants to cover Leicester City and Leicestershire on a part-time basis The Supporting Migrant Workers into Learning project is designed to help skilled migrants to fulfil their economic potential and increase their value to the regional economy. The project will support workers with workplace or community based English lessons and ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) workshops. The project offers an additional service for migrant workers as it matches their homeland qualifications to the UK equivalent. As such, we are seeking expressions of interest from individuals already working within migrant communities (unions or employers) who are interested in working on a consultancy basis in order to identify participants who would benefit from this project. We welcome interest from those who share our vision, professionalism and commitment to the trade union ethos. To be considered for these opportunities you should already have relevant experience working and organising migrant communities, Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) or learning projects, have good language skills and be self motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
