Celebration of Learning - 'Event in a Box'
Week commencing 15th October 2012
As part of our strategy to celebrate workplace learning across the region, unionlearn in the Midlands have developed and compiled a series of learning activities and resources. In fact, all you'll need to do is run events in your workplace.
Each free box contains 5 themes and all the materials that you will need to support that learning activity. Every themed activity is designed to engage potential learners during their lunch or rest break, or can be extended for longer periods if required, leaving a learning resource that you could use time and time again.
The themes are:
- Numeracy
- Literacy
- Health & Well Being
- Greening the Workplace
- On Line Basics
If you want to celebrate learning in your workplace, this is an ideal resource full of useful materials, and much more, to support you in delivering a series of successful learning tasters.
We anticipate a high demand from the regional ULR network, so to avoid disappointment, please contact Surjit Chohan at schohan@tuc.org.uk, or on 0121 262 6384, for an application form, at the earliest opportunity. A member of the unionlearn team will be delivering the boxes to ULRs from 1st October, and will need an hour with them to talk through the box contents.
