Digital learning (ICT)

Although Skills for Life is now being referred to as "English & Maths", digital learning and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) remains as important as ever.

Every day, more jobs become dependent on ICT skills, and government services, banking and even social lives are managed more easily by those who know their way round a computer or smart phone.

ICT training at all levels forms a large part of the work of trade union-led learning centres around the country, and unionlearn works in partnership with many organisations, including the Online Centres Foundation (formerly UK Online Centres) and Go ON UK, to help provide access to opportunities for people to develop or improve computer and internet skills.
