The website and resources have been designed to be appealing and accessible to a wide range of adults, including those with poor literacy and numeracy skills (Entry Level 3/L1 in curriculum terms).
Our dedicated raw partner's area allows tutors and practitioners to user-test upcoming content, share best practice with each other and download free workshop resources, ideal for integrating into existing courses and informal learning.
Over time, new activities and subjects will be added to the raw website. The ambition is that over three years, raw will become the destination of choice for adults wanting to improve their skills.
Beyond the website, the outreach campaign will have a raw money focus. Free, hands-on, well-being, raw money workshops will be taking place in workplaces across the UK throughout March, April and May. Workshops will cover a variety of themes such as planning for the future, credit and borrowing, money and kids, pensions and practical budgeting.
The supporting raw money magazine is available to order by emailing raw@bbc.co.uk . The magazine offers entertainment, information and valuable tips which can be applied to people's lives straight away. It offers a taster of the tone and content of the online resources including articles from the raw money presenters, real-life stories from adults dealing with debt and tips from BBC faces, such as James Caan from the Dragon's Den.
Each page will include pointers to related activities and units on the raw money website. Marketing resources, such as posters and flyers, will also be available to order.
