Learning Works for All Fund: Phase TwoThe Learning Works for All (LWfA) project was set up in 2003 to increase the productivity, performance and confidence of individuals and organisations in the South West. It supports trade unions, working with partners, to develop and deliver sustainable projects that increase access to learning and promote greater employee involvement in decisions. The project supports initiatives to provide lifelong learning and workforce development opportunities, to undertake skills analysis work, to support workers facing redundancy and those that seek to improve the work/life balance of the region’s workers. The project is supported by the South West of England Regional Development Agency (SWRDA) and has a budget for both phases of £2,276,350. LWfA Phase Two started in 2006 and has sponsored 26 new projects, which are providing further learning opportunities to workers across the South West of England.
