Learning and organising for ULRs

As well as increasing opportunities for individual members, union learning renews union activism and strengthens union voice. This in turn sustains learning activities. Thus there is a need for the role of ULRs to be fully recognised by unions and be part of their organisation at all levels; workplace, branch, regional and national. A recent survey commissioned by the TUC has shown that an increasing number of ULRs are part of union organisation at the workplace.
