Learning and organising for ULRsAs well as increasing opportunities for individual members, union learning renews union activism and strengthens union voice. This in turn sustains learning activities. Thus there is a need for the role of ULRs to be fully recognised by unions and be part of their organisation at all levels; workplace, branch, regional and national. A recent survey commissioned by the TUC has shown that an increasing number of ULRs are part of union organisation at the workplace.
