Higher Education discounts for trade union members

A number of universities and colleges that work with unionlearn offer discounts for union members.

These include:

Birkbeck, University of London, is London's evening university and offers 10% off all accredited Birkbeck courses (certificates, undergraduate and postgraduate) as long as the course of study is at a level that is not lower than or equivalent to any existing qualifications already held.

Birkbeck also hold Open Evenings for people to find out more. And ULRs and reps can request free workshops and learning activities for their workplace or branch to help members without a first degree to apply to and succeed at university.

The University of London is offering a 10% discount for union members (affiliated to the TUC) on the following 4 online course programmes; BSc Business Administration (academic direction by Royal Holloway), BSc Computer Science (academic direction by Goldsmiths), BSc Psychology (academic direction by Kings College London) and Global MBA (academic direction by Queen Mary). The National Extension College (NEC) is a pioneering distance learning provider.  The NEC offers union members a 10% discount on the cost of their courses including GCSEs, A'Levels and vocational courses.  Let them know that you are a union member when you enrol on a course.
