Inspiring the Future is a free service that sees people from all sectors and professions volunteering to visit local state secondary schools and colleges to talk about their jobs, careers, and the education routes they took. You just talk about "the job you do" and "the route you took".
Everyone – from CEOs to 18-year-old apprentices – can volunteer for Inspiring the Future. As can architects to zoologists, whatever your job, it can be of interest to school pupils.
Volunteers and schools are connected securely online, and volunteering takes place near home or work because you specify the geographic locations that suit you. DBS (previously called Criminal Records Bureau checks) are not needed because a teacher will always be present to facilitate.

Inspiring the Future launched the national Inspiring Women campaign on 17 October 2013.
