Unionlearn are back on the road in October and November, and bringing a series of regional Supporting Learners events to union representatives, employers and those interested in the latest workplace learning and skills developments.
The events will focus on apprenticeships, English and Maths as well as looking at the regional skills challenges facing the workforce. They will include presentations, updates and practical workshops.
In particular the regional seminars will look at the growth in apprenticeships, and ways that unions and reps can support high quality schemes and devise strategies that will best support apprentices.
The events will promote a range of new and exciting materials that will help union representatives and employers not only develop and improve their apprenticeship programmes but also support English and Maths provision at work.
Kevin Rowan, Director of unionlearn said;
These Supporting Learners events will be a chance to network and share ideas with other union reps. Events will include resources, updates and activities throughout the day on apprenticeships, mentoring learners, promoting learning at work, maths, English and more.”
They are the perfect way for the busy rep to keep up to date with the laest developments in workplace learning and early booking is recommended.”
