Union learning reps work hard to support colleagues take up learning opportunities within workplaces. One important aspect of this is knowing ways to improve accessibility to learning.
With this in mind unionlearn has produced a practical guide for union reps and officers called “Making learning, and meetings, accessible to all”.
This guide has been written for all union reps to help them to ensure that everybody can participate in learning in the workplace. The hints and tips included apply to a range of activities that reps regularly organise or set up for people to participate in, including meetings, events, courses and other learning opportunities.
Unionlearn, the TUC, unions and other organisations have all produced resources to help you to break down the barriers and make it possible for everyone to succeed and progress in their learning.
