The TUC is working with the government and the CBI to develop a new National Retraining Scheme.
To inform development of the scheme, the government is researching the barriers that people face in getting access to training.
This research will involve selected people being invited to engage in interviews and focus groups.
They are looking for adults aged 24 and above who have qualifications no higher than Level 2 (e.g. a Level 2 apprenticeship and school qualifications such as GCSEs and the vocational equivalent).
This is an opportunity to genuinely influence government policy, and you do not need to have any prior knowledge or recent training experience to take part.
Government officials will simply be asking for your views and opinions.
How to get involved
Researchers will be holding interviews and focus groups during mid-September, at a time and place that is convenient for you.
If you are interested, you are invited to take this short survey to get involved.
Everyone who takes the survey has the opportunity to join a prize draw to win one of three £50 gift vouchers and there will be payments for anyone who is subsequently invited to attend interviews or focus groups.
