Two new tools have been launched by unionlearn and TUC Education for union reps and officers to help build a case for sustainable workplace learning activity.
The bargaining for skills eNote is a short interactive online module that brings together effective arguments for negotiating on learning. It is a useful starting point for those embarking on partnerships with employers and those who want to build a case for bargaining for skills at the workplace. Quizzes and short tasks help with digesting ideas and starting to plan your own bargaining journey.
A new Climbing Frame learning theme – 'bargaining for skills and employer engagement' – is an invaluable online resource base for Union Learning Reps (ULRs). This brand new theme offers information and food for thought on negotiating on workplace learning issues and approaches to them. The theme emphasises that stronger employer engagement benefits ULRs' work on supporting learners.
