New survey seeks to test awareness of Learning for Life campaign

A survey has been launched to find out if the union learning reps (ULRs) and other union reps in the NHS are aware of the Learning for Life campaign. The survey also seeks to find out if they have made use of the campaign, for example, by approaching their employer about developing a learning agreement.

The Learning for Life campaign was set up by the NHS Social Partnership Forum (SPF) in July 2013. The involvement of ULRs and other reps is key to the success of the project.

The campaign aims to increase workplace learning across the NHS and is now six months old. The campaigners are keen to find out about who is using the campaign and how; what impact it is having; and how we can better support you in your role to improve skills development in the future.

Whether you are an active Learning for Life campaign user or not familiar with the campaign, the campaign would appreciate it if union reps, including ULRs, could take time to complete the short online survey.

The NHS Social Partnership Forum gathers together NHS trade unions, NHS Employers, the Department of Health and other stakeholders. Unionlearn has been supporting the Learning for Life campaign.
