Unionlearn is holding a regional Supporting Learners events for union learning reps in Newcastle in October.
The Supporting Learners event is run in conjunction with the Northern TUC and will be held at the County Hotel in Newcastle on Wednesday 16th October.
The day will be packed with useful information and resources, including a unionlearn Supporting Learners update focusing on national and regional initiatives and campaigns to support workplace learning.
Delegates will have a chance to hear the latest updates on exciting new work around digital skills, the National Retraining Scheme and more - with updates on apprenticeships and TUC Education too.

TUC Northern Regional Secretary, Beth Farhat, will open the conference. Beth said:
Learning and skills are vital to the economy of the region, and unions play a vital role in supporting high quality workplace skills.”
Union learning reps across the region have been pulling out all the stops to support learners in their workplaces. The event will offer an opportunity to get up to speed on new unionlearn campaigns and something that ULRs and members interested in workplace learning shouldn’t miss.”
