With the unionlearn annual conference only three weeks away the organisers of the 2017 event for union learning reps, project officers and learning providers have announced the workshops that will be available this year.
Delegates attending will be able to get updates, and engage in practical sessions on a variety of subjects that will be useful and important when supporting workplace learning.
The subjects range from unionlearn’s core themes at the moment of supporting English, maths and apprentices to finding out about the latest offer from TUC Education.
There will be a chance to take part in a practical poetry workshop with Leicester poet Jess Green aimed at improving confidence with writing being a bit of fun whilst developing writing skills.
Other workshops cover areas important to workplace Union Learning Reps such as Mental Health First Aid and supporting older workers.
