Former Union Learning Rep Chris Gurdev has had quite some learning journey. After eight years of study Chris, with the support of Learn with Aegis, has achieved his learning goal and been invited to become a Chartered Fellow in Management.
Former Surrey Fire Brigades Union (FBU) member and now retired and Out of Trade member Gerry Beaty has been using his time to learn new skills and help others, thanks to courses offered by the FBU Learning Centre.
Benjamin Coffie has been furloughed since mid-March – and has used his time to study as a Mental Health First Aider with the support of his union, the Baker, Food and Allied Workers Union (BFAWU).

Last year Learn with Aegis rep Claire starting to promote reading and Quick Reads in her workplace – since then things have come on in leaps and bounds.
London Ambulance Service UNISON has won an award at the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (CONEL) annual Excellence Awards for the work they have done on helping members secure the qualifications they need to apply for the service apprenticeship courses.
