In late November unionlearn wrapped up its annual Supporting Learners series of regional events in Leeds. During the autumn unionlearn had held events across the country aimed at supporting Union Learning Reps and promoting workplace learning.
UNISON’s Bridges to Learning project is helping internees with learning disabilities, difficulties and autism as they progress through the supported internship and work experience programme Project Choice in Newcastle.
This week Union Learning Reps across the country focus on numeracy skills as unionlearn runs its annual Maths Workout Week – all part of its wider campaign promoting maths skills and supporting learners improve numeracy at work.
Northern TUC Learning are offering two of its popular 'Bite-sized Briefing' sessions in Middlesbrough on October 8th. The short sessions will cover Cancer Rights at Work and Menopuase at Work and are aimed at giving reps an understanding of the way these issues will affect members in their workplaces.
