Further information: The College's Skills For Life team provide support for learners with a proven track record of reaching some of the most hard to reach learners in the workplace. They have acted as providers to the GMB for a number of years.

The college runs both Numeracy and Literacy courses in the waste depot in Hollingdean, Brighton. The courses are held during the day and fit in with shift patterns and learner needs. The attendees mainly work in parks and gardens or City Clean street cleansing.

Further information: The Trade Union Studies Centre is on the main college site in the city centre. The Centre is self contained and has staff available to meet the majority of learners needs. Where needs cannot be met, the college student support services will assist. There are two good sized teaching rooms and a medium sized learning centre, which have at least adequate resources, equipment and facilities to support varied teaching and learning methods and styles.

Further information: The Trade Union Studies Centre, which is part of the School of Business, is based on the Tooting site in and has a dedicated teaching room and offices. Courses are run on and off site across a wide geographical area. There are two full-time and seven sessional tutors working on the TUC and affiliates education programme. Staff are available to meet the majority of learners needs. Where needs cannot be met, for example a signer, the college student support services will assist. Staff within the centre are appropriately trained and qualified to provide the education, training and support that they offer to their learners and their unions and employers.
