Further information: The Trade Union Studies unit has been working with local unions for many years and has successfully run the full range of TUC courses, as well as drafting bespoke ones at the request of unions. Further information: Hatfield Learning Centre is part of a national organisation, POA Learning, which is funded by the Union Learning Fund. There are currently 9 regional learning centres, one in each of the HMPS regions and a network of link centres at another 40 establishments. POA Learning offers a variety of learning opportunities and IAG to HMPS staff, their families, friends and the wider community. Hatfield was one of the first centres opened by POA Learning and over the years has achieved many successes with its learner achievements.
