Important: Why unionlearn is asking you to resubscribe
Unionlearn places a high value on our relationship with the many stakeholders involved with unions and learners. From Union Learning Reps and shop stewards to academics and employers, Unionlearn works with a large group of people involved with workplace and union led learning.
The law is changing. In order to continue to let you know about the latest news, events and developments in union learning, we will soon be sending out emails asking you to resubscribe to our mailing list.
To continue receiving emails from unionlearn you must resubscribe via these emails. This will allow us to continue to let you know about:
- News on skills and learning
- Unionlearn conferences and events
- Access to new, innovative online tools for helping learners
- Learning Rep eMagazine and Supporting Learners eNewsletter
- Case studies on union-led learning
If you don’t take this chance to resubscribe, unionlearn will be unable to send you emails after the 25th May. If you have not resubscibed via the emails, then you will be deleted from our mailing list.
You will be able to subscribe again in the future via our website, but opting in via the emails is the quickest way to resubscribe.
Why are unionlearn doing this?
New data protection laws, called the GDPR, are coming into effect on May 25th. Many organisations are going through a similar process, from Cancer Research to Manchester United. It also provides us with an opportunity to ensure that we are only contacting those with a continuing interest in union lead learning.
