The coronavirus crisis has led many people to consider what new skills they need or would like to learn, South TUC are hosting a webinar on June 3rd to explore what opportunities are out there.

New home working tools were available before the lockdown, but more options have been created to help as many working people pick up new skills and learn online.

It is also true that many workers face losing or have already lost their jobs and will need extra help from their union on the learning opportunities available to them.

The TUC South West are holding an online briefing and discussion on these issues.

The free session will consider what resources are available, especially in the West of England area and how we should prepare for redundancy support.

The session will hear about initiatives such as unionlearn’s new Learning@Home campaign, Future Bright and Ways 2 Work.
