Unionlearn will be joining UNISON Organisers and Union Learning Reps for a Functional Skills Webinar next month.

How do we help develop our members’ English, maths, and digital skills and promote learning in the workplace? This lunchtime webinar aims to answer the question and give practical advice to ULRs supporting English, maths and digital learning.

Areas for discussion include:

• what are functional skills?
• how can UNISON learning reps help colleagues improve their functional skills?
• what do organisers need to know?

Unionlearn Policy Officer Kirsi Kekki will be joining UNISON’s National Learning and Development Organiser Oreleo Du Cran along with a number of ULR’s from Guys and St Thomas Trust and Southwark, Leeds and Barnsley’s Local Government branches.

The webinar takes place from 1.00 pm – 1.45 pm on Monday 16th September
