What better time than now to learn something at home. 

Whether you want to improve your career prospects, learn some new skills, or simply occupy your time, there is so much available that you can choose from.

To help you decide what to do, unionlearn has just launched a Learning@Home campaign.  Learning@Home will promote a wide range of useful resources from unionlearn and partner organisations.  We will run some interesting webinars, introduce new materials, update you with regular news stories and highlight courses that may be of interest to you. 

As part of this project we have produced a brand new Learning Theme on the union learning Climbing Frame website dedicated to Learning at home.

The union learning Climbing Frame is the free website designed for union learning reps and others that work with learners, to help support learners and promote learning in the workplace. The website contains a wealth of information on a number of different learning topics along with an area where you can record learning.

In the new Learning Theme, there is information about the benefits of learning at home, how you can get started and a wide range of useful resources and websites you can make use of.  We have also included information about getting support, course finder websites, free learning websites and some top tips to help you get the most out of learning at home.

You can also use the Climbing Frame website to record all the learning, actions, goals and achievements you accomplish from your home learning.  You can regularly review and update this information as you progress on your learning journey.

Whether you want to swot up on your grammar to help your kids with their homework, do the GCSE you never got the chance to do, learn how to speak Japanese or find out about ways to video call, you can choose a course that suits you and carry it out from the comfort of your own home.
