TUC North West continues to work with the CCG (‘health authority’) and the PSS (voluntary organisation) across Liverpool to promote digital inclusion, and through training enabling people to take better care of their health and well-being.
The South West TUC has launched a campaign that aims to ensure that apprentices understand their rights as they enter the workforce. One company that they hold as an example of a good scheme is Bristol Port.

Matt Pointon is a Project Officer working in the unionlearn Strategy team, before starting with unionlearn Matt worked with the BSU’s ULF project and attended a number of learning events – one resulted in Matt following a long desire to study towards a Masters degree.
Unionlearn has welcomed the OECD's latest jobs strategy, which highlights the positive benefits of collective bargaining – in particularly to develop workplace training. The learning and skills arm of the TUC was also pleased that its work was held up as an example of good practice in supporting workplace learning.
In late November unionlearn wrapped up its annual Supporting Learners series of regional events in Leeds. During the autumn unionlearn had held events across the country aimed at supporting Union Learning Reps and promoting workplace learning.
