The Birkbeck Futures team are running a 3-day Careers Bootcamp which is open to union members and reps who are looking to develop their employability skills.

Unionlearn partner Birkbeck is running the Bootcamp from 28th – 30th July, with each day having three useful and practical sessions lined up.

These will focus on helping to support people in their career journey and building up confidence when speaking with employers, develop a personal brand both online and offline and help develop the skills needed to succeed as an entrepreneur, freelancer, or to work in a start-up.

The sessions are:

Bootcamp Day One: Ability | Tuesday 28th July 12-7pm

This session is designed for those with a disability, neurodiverse, long term health or mental health condition. Find out more

Bootcamp Day Two: Enterprise | Wednesday 29th July 12-7pm

This session is for those interested in enterprise and entrepreneurship as a career pathway or anyone interested in freelance, contracting and portfolio careers. Find out more

Bootcamp Day Three: Personal Branding | Thursday 30th July 12-7pm

This session will help with building your personal brand on and offline, including using LinkedIn. Find out more
