Get involved this Mental Health Awareness Week!
Mental Health Awareness Week will take place from 18th -24th May 2020 on the topic of kindness.
The Mental Health Foundation works to prevent mental health problems and every May organises Mental Health Awareness Week, with a different theme.
This year’s theme of kindness was chosen as the organisers felt that One thing that we have seen all over the world is that kindness is prevailing in uncertain times, and that amid the fear, there is also community, support and hope.
The added benefit of helping others is that it is good for our own mental health and wellbeing. It can help reduce stress and improve your emotional wellbeing.
People can get involved with Mental Health Awareness Week by joining in online and getting the nation talking about kindness and mental health. By joining the campiagn online, people can even reach people from around the world.
You can find out more, download resources and get involved by visiting the Mental Health Awareness Week website.
