Unionlearn is gearing up to the fifth Literacy Works Week, and from 8th to 12th March will be celebrating all things to do with reading, writing and language. 

The week will be packed full of ideas, quizzes and cases studies, which include:

• A Writing for Wellbeing webinar to kick off the week on the 8th March
• Unionlearn is celebrating its first ever Punctuation Day on the 10th March with a webinar. Join in to hear the TUC’s resident grammar expert and senior publications officer Rob Sanders discuss why punctuation matters.
• The March English, maths and digital skills network meeting has a literacy theme as we take a look at resources in the TUC Library and Citizen Literacy adult literacy programme and app.
• A look at the 15th anniversary books from Quick Reads, the short engaging books everyone loves, that are being released in May released. There’s no better time to get in touch with your union or unionlearn to find out how you can get Quick Read books to your workplace. Why not organise a book club? 
• Follow @unionlearn in Twitter and test your brain with our daily literacy quiz questions during the week. All correct answers will be available by the end of the week. 
• Join in and tweet about your literacy activities using #literacyworks hashtag.
