The unionlearn webinar series is back on Friday 3rd July with a practical session exploring Mid-life skills reviews and the benefits for mid-life workers.
Workers are retiring later in life, pensions are uncertain. Workers in mid-life, particularly those over the age of 50, who lose their jobs often find it difficult to find new work. Many have developed skills and experience, but are unaware of how they can be applied in new areas.
Do you want to know what the benefits are of having a Mid-life skills review?
Join Jane Warwick and Jane Watts on Friday 3rd July at 11.00 to hear about what support is available for mid-life and older workers, including the Online Value My Skills transferable skills assessment tool.
Jane is a unionlearn projects officer, in the Service Team, who works with unions on their learning projects. She holds a particular remit for supporting mid-life and older workers, mental health and learning centres.
