Unionlearn, through its training partnership with The Skills Network, is offering a selection of new funded qualifications via distance learning.

Unionlearn’s agreement with The Skills Network since October 2019 has given union members, friends and colleagues access to a wide range of free, fully accredited, courses.

The new courses are:

• Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Warehousing
• Level 2 Certificate in Self-harm and Suicide Awareness and Prevention
• Level 2 Certificate in Special Education Needs and Disability

These courses have been added to the unionlearn Skills Network page and join over 40 courses ranging from health and wellbeing to digital skills, care sector skills to retail operation.

The Skills Network is one of the most successful providers of online courses and qualifications UK, and their distance learning platform is a way of learning remotely without needing to attend classroom lessons.

This allows learners to study at their own pace, in their own home or workplace learning centre, at a time that fit around peoples busy lives. Learners have the freedom to revisit areas of the course as little or as much as they need without having to keep the same pace as others. There is also full support from tutors via email.
