New guide to support workers facing redundancy
Unionlearn has today launched a new practical guide aimed at supporting workers coping with redundancy and other changes at work.
Redundancy worries are affecting many at the moment and this guide looks at what it means, and ways to find the support that people can make use of both during and after as they face a changing work situation.
Organised into four sections the guide looks at understanding change at work (including redundancy and rights), thinking about money and health, making decisions for the future and getting ready for a new job.
Alongside an overview of each of these areas there's also lots of details of places and organisations where you can go to find the detailed knowledge and advice, and practical tools, that could be helpful in your particular circumstances. The guide also includes additional covid-19 related information throughout its pages.
As well as the online version that's available here printed copies of the guide are currently available. These can be ordered free of charge by emailing [email protected] with your name and address and the number of copies you'd like and they'll be despatched as soon as possible.
