Online feedback sessions for National Skills Fund consultation
The Department for Education is running a number of online stakeholder feedback sessions in August as part of its ongoing consultation on the development of the National Skills Fund.
The TUC will be submitting a written response to the consultation and drawing on the input of all our affiliated unions.
As well as written submissions, there will be an opportunity to feed in views via online feedback sessions. The relevant sessions for unions include event 3 (11 August) focused on meeting the skills needs of individuals or event 4 (10 August) that is open to all stakeholders. We would encourage unions to participate in one of these sessions to highlight the positive impact of union learning and the need for policies and programmes to boost learning and skills opportunities for many more people.
More information on the TUC’s view of the proposals in the consultation are available in the latest editions of our skills policy newsletter.
