As part of the Autumn Festival of Learning unionlearn are this week focusing on ways that unions are supporting learners.

Throughout the week there will be a selection of case studies and resources shared on unionlearn’s social media along with the first two online regional Supporting Learners events – which are covering the Yorkshire and the Humber Region (Monday) and the North West (Wednesday).

The annual series of regional events is always a highlight in the unionlearn calendar, and despite these having to move online they will have a packed agenda with updates from unionlearn, regional TUC and TUC Education staff, along with breakout sessions

Autumn Festival of Learning organiser Louisa Smith said:

Supporting Learners is at the core of what union learning reps are about, and throughout the week we will be highlighting examples of this work.”

As well as taking part in one of your regions Supporting Learners events the week is also a great opportunity to revisit some of the great resources unionlearn has to support learners such as the union learning Climbing Frame website and SkillCheck.”
