Unionlearn Punctuation Day playlist strikes a chord!

As part of Punctuation Day Unionlearn is releasing an eclectic playlist of songs to listen to and provide a musical backdrop to any writing exercise. Get involved and add your own favorites.

The playlist is part of Literacy Works Week and marks unionlearn’s first ever Punctuation Day celebrations which also include a webinar All the lovely punctuation! and Twitter quiz question to ponder.

The Punctuation Day playlist is available at Spotify, and covers exclamation marks, question marks and even the oxford comma. Coldplay was a suggestion from a colleague who said her favourite line in a song was “I'd rather be a comma than a full stop”, but the playlist is Collaborative and you can add your own favorites.

The Punctuation Day is part of Literacy Works Week activities (#literacyworks).

Kirsi Kekki , unionlearn Policy Officer said:

We asked people to send in their suggestions and got a very varied list of music to enjoy. There should be something for anyone and we’re eager to have further suggestions too.

Collaborating on this playlist and the Literacy Works Week activities has been a show of how many enthusiastic adult learners there are around the country. And as everyone knows, unions have done brilliant work in supporting learning in the workplace.”
