TUC Education are running a webinar as part of Young Workers month to help union reps find out all they need to know about the new Kickstart scheme.

Covid-19 has had huge impacts on young workers, many of whom are facing redundancy or have already lost their jobs. During Young Workers month, join us to find out more about the government Kickstart Scheme to help tackle youth unemployment and how it can be used in your workplace.

Kate Bell, the TUC Head of the Rights, International, Social and Economics department will be joined by employer and union rep from Yorkshire Water to ask:

• What is the Kickstart scheme and how does it help young workers?
• What are the requirements of employers who want to set up the scheme?
• How can reps ensure employers go above and beyond government recommendations to support young workers?
