Wranx offers new home working e-learning modules
Unionlearn partner Wranx has developed two new e-learning modules to support the recent surge of working from home due to the coronavirus lockdown, with a third module coming soon.
The two new modules have been launched this week and are aimed at union members working from home. The topics are:
● Working from Home: An Introduction – How to successfully work from home: stay organised, communicate online, build a workspace and keep healthy
● Working from Home: Mental Health – The importance of looking after your mental health, exercising and eating healthily while working from home
Mark Williams, CEO of Wranx said:
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, distance learning is now more important than ever and allows workers to improve their knowledge and develop new skills at home. Wranx are proud to be supporting the unionlearn Learning at Home campaign by providing online bite-sized training that can be accessed on any mobile device.”
As well as the Working from Home modules, Wranx has created a number of new modules to support the personal development of Union members, including:
● Foundation Maths (3 modules) – An introduction to the most important basic maths skills, including numbers and shapes
● Foundation English (2 modules) – An introduction to the most important basic English skills, including spelling and grammar
ULRs can sign up to these new modules, as well as any existing ones, by visiting the unionlearn Wranx Page.
There is also a link to the Wranx page, along with lots of other free distance learning offers on the new unionlearn Learning @ Home page.
