Unionlearn website supports workers at home with their children
Unionlearn has added a new page full of resources and ideas to the Learning@Home website to support workers with children who are home.
On the “Learning@Home with your children” page unionlearn provides links to some excellent resources not only to enable your children to continue learning but also to give you the skills you need to provide support.
The page also features a section for free online tours and these are practical learning experiences for children that can help teach them whilst exploring museums, art galleries and famous places of interest around the world.
Unionlearn Service Team Manager Ian Borkett said:
With schools closed and many pupils at home for the foreseeable future unionlearn knew that workers would appreciate support finding materials and resources to keep their children learning and engaged with learning.”
We also understood that many parents would like support in developing the skills needed to help their children learn at home and stay safe online. This new web page is packed full of exciting resources and ideas – and we are planning to keep adding new content over the coming weeks.”
We would really like your feedback on these resources and also if you know of others then let us know.
